Troubleshooting & Quick Fixes: Wheels, Tires, and Cab Lights

Encountering an issue during or after your install? Here are quick solutions to the most common problems with wheels, tires, and cab lights—so you can get back on the road with confidence.

Wheels & Tires

  • Vibration or Shaking: Double-check that all lug nuts are torqued to spec and in a star pattern. If the issue persists, have your wheels rebalanced.
  • TPMS Warning Light: Ensure sensors are installed and paired correctly. Some trucks require a "relearn” process—check your owner’s manual.
  • Slow Air Leak: Check valve stems and bead seating for leaks. Use soapy water to spot bubbles. Replace faulty stems or reseat the tire as needed.
  • Wheel Scraping or Rubbing: Make sure you have the correct wheel offset and tire size for your truck. Adjust or trim fender liners if needed.

Cab Lights

  • Some Lights Not Working: Check wiring connections and grounds. Test bulbs individually. Replace any defective bulbs.
  • Water Leaks into Cab: Reseal mounting holes with silicone and check gaskets for proper fit.
  • Lights Flicker or Dim: Verify a solid ground connection and check for loose or corroded wires.

Quick Tips

  • Always start with the simplest fix—double-check connections, torque, and installation steps.
  • Keep basic tools and a tire pressure gauge in your truck for emergencies.
  • If you’re stuck, consult your product manual or reach out for support.
